We’re thrilled to share that our latest research paper has been published:
Coherent beam combining strategies for high-energy and high-repetition rate lasers dedicated to inertial nuclear fusion applications
Pierre Lebegue, Marie Froidevaux, Jonas Benjamin Ohland, Cyril Rapeneau, Doina Badarau, Joanna de Sousa, Loïc Meignien, Ivan Doudet, Nolan Chan, Benoit Wattellier, Patrick Audebert, Dimitris Papadopoulos, and Frédéric Druon
Vol. 33, No. 22 / 3 Nov 2025 / Optics Express 45615

The paper was a collaboration between the three institutes LCF, LULI and GSI and the company PHASICS.
At the Advanced Solid State Lasers (ASSL) conference this week, Pierre Lebegue presented part of the experimental setup described in the paper during his talk “Protocols and Analysis of Wavefront Distortions in Nd:Glass Amplifiers During Flash-Pumping : Towards the Active Coherent Beam Combining of Kilojoule-Class Laser Chains.”
