On 14 and 15 April, the French partner CNRS organized the 4th general assembly meeting of THRILL at Sorbonne University in Paris and Palaiseau. This meeting was the last in-person meeting of the project and the occasion for the consortium to look out into the future.
The first day of the meeting was dedicated to technical sessions covering the progress of all work packages since the last General Assembly Meeting in June 2025, with an emphasis on project highlights and upcoming networking activities. Indeed, the last months of the project require intense exchange between the partners to exploit the synergetic aspects of THRILL to their maximum. The meeting was a perfect venue for this coordination task.
The second day of the meeting was hosted at the Apollon facility, where a tour of the facility took place for the meeting participants. This was again a good time for networking and technological exchanges. The second part of the day was devoted to brainstorming on new ideas and contributions for a new funding application that the consortium plans to submit to the European commission. A board meeting closed the GA meeting, where the upcoming reporting duties and coordination needs between partners were discussed.
